FAQ

What browsers are supported?

AI Captcha works on every major desktop and mobile browser, as well as desktop and mobile apps. AI Captcha supports all modern browsers including:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Opera
  • Apple Safari
  • Apple Safari and Safari Webview on iOS
  • Google Chrome on iOS

For optimal performance, we recommend using the latest versions of these browsers with JavaScript enabled.

Does AI Captcha provide accessibility solutions for visually impaired users or those using screen readers?

Yes. AI Captcha supports the function of voice broadcasting verification prompts. Visually impaired users or groups using screen readers can obtain verification requirements through voice commands and complete the verification process smoothly.

If a product needs to comply with GDPR, CCPA, or China's Personal Information Protection Law, what user data (e.g., IP, device information, operation behavior) does AI Captcha collect? How long will this data be stored?

The types and sources of data collected by AI Captcha are as follows. For the specific storage period, please refer to the official Privacy Policy ([Please supplement the Privacy Policy link if available]):

  • Personal Information: Name, email address, region, etc., which are only provided directly to us by you (the customer); we do not actively collect such information.
  • Analytical Information: IP address, browser type, basic device information (e.g., device model, system version), access time, etc., collected through Cookies and third-party analysis tools to optimize the verification experience.
  • Annotation Data: Labels, answers, etc. generated when users complete CAPTCHA tasks. This type of data is not associated with any personal identity information and is only used for model training and verification logic optimization.
  • Behavioral Data: Mouse trajectory, keyboard input events, touch operation trajectory, etc., which are only used to distinguish between real users and bot traffic and ensure verification security.
  • Other Information: Only includes additional data voluntarily provided by individual annotators, which has no connection with ordinary users.

For more detailed compliance instructions, you can refer to the complete Privacy Policy or contact customer service to obtain a dedicated compliance document.

If the free version of AI Captcha exceeds the monthly verification limit, will the deployed service stop automatically? Will it report an error directly on the front end and block users' normal business operations?

The service will not stop, and no errors will be reported on the front end to block user operations. The free version of AI Captcha has a default monthly verification limit of 50,000 times. After exceeding this limit:

  • The front-end verification function can be used normally without users being aware; The core change: The protection against bot traffic will become invalid, and only the basic verification form will be retained.

The number of product users fluctuates greatly (e.g., a surge in verification volume during promotions or events). If the quota of the AI Captcha PRO version package is used up, will it be charged based on the number of excess verifications? Can a quota alert be set?

  1. Over-quota Charging Rule: After the quota of the PRO version package is used up, charges will be calculated based on the actual number of excess verifications in accordance with the officially announced "unit price for excess single verification". The fee will be settled together with the next cycle's package fee.
  2. Quota Alert Setting: Quota alerts are supported. You can log in to the AI Captcha management backend, go to the "Package Management - Quota Alert" module, customize the alert threshold (e.g., trigger a reminder when the remaining quota is 10%), and select SMS, email, or in-platform notification to receive alerts, so as to prepare for traffic peaks in advance.

If a product has both a web end and App end (iOS/Android), can AI Captcha be uniformly adapted? Do different ends need to apply for separate Sitekeys, or can one Sitekey be used universally?

  1. Unified Adaptation for Multiple Ends: AI Captcha supports unified adaptation for the web end, iOS App end, and Android App end. There is no need to develop separate integration logic for different ends.
  2. Suggestions for Sitekey Use:
  • Technically, one Sitekey can be used universally for all ends;
  • Recommended Solution: Apply for separate Sitekeys for the web end, iOS end, and Android end respectively. This facilitates distinguishing the verification data (e.g., verification volume, interception rate, pass rate) of each end in the management backend, enabling more accurate problem troubleshooting and experience optimization.

How to distinguish the specific reasons why a user fails to pass AI Captcha verification? For example, is it because the user cannot complete the verification challenge, or is it intercepted as bot traffic by the security policy?

You can accurately distinguish through the "Verification Traffic Analysis" module in the AI Captcha management backend. The specific steps are as follows: If you are a PRO or above paid version user, first log in to the management backend and enter the Verification Traffic Trends page; In the Verification Blocks section of this page, the interception data is clearly divided into two categories:

  • Answer error blocks: The user fails to pass verification because they cannot complete the verification challenge (e.g., failing to correctly identify the verification content);
  • Security policy enforcement blocks: The user is identified as bot traffic and intercepted because they triggered security rules (e.g., IP blacklist, frequency limit, bot feature recognition); If you need to further view the specific types of bot traffic (e.g., script attacks, crawler traffic), you can click the Types of Malicious Verification Requests module at the bottom of the page to obtain a more detailed analysis of interception reasons.

Does AI Captcha support customizing the display mode (e.g., forced dark mode or light mode) through API parameters or backend configuration?

Yes. You can customize the display mode in two ways:

  1. API Parameter Configuration: When calling the AI Captcha verification API, add the theme parameter and specify its value (e.g., theme=dark for forced dark mode, theme=light for forced light mode);

Does AI Captcha support automatic multi-language adaptation? Which language types are currently covered, and can they meet the needs of products targeting users in different countries/regions?

Automatic Multi-language Adaptation: Yes. AI Captcha can automatically identify the system language of the user's device or the browser language, and switch the display language of the verification interface synchronously without manual configuration. If you want to force a specific language, more detailed configuration instructions here.

What are the difficulty levels for the challenges, and how are they selected?

AI Captcha offers three difficulty levels:

  • Easy: A smooth verification process for the best user experience, suitable for low-risk scenarios.
  • Medium: A balance between security and user experience, suitable for most standard use cases.
  • Hard: The highest level of security, suitable for high-risk scenarios. May increase the burden on users.

The system automatically selects difficulty based on:

  • Risk assessment of the requesting IP
  • User behavior patterns
  • Device and browser characteristics
  • Previous interaction history
